Born in Stafford 1967. Nick has been associated within the Leisure Industry since the early 80’s where he joined First Leisure as a Trainee Manager in Watford at Paradise Lost nightclub.
Having spent many years operating different Nightclubs around the UK, he went on to open his own successful Restaurant/Bar in Stafford for 2 years before being bought out by Moorland PLC.
This is where he first gained his passion for designing & developing entertainment venues.
Having made the decision to step down as an operator, he then went onto work for a refurbishment company based in Birmingham where he became Project Director.
Having worked there for 5 years, Nick felt it was time to move on and set up his own company with a colleague Andy Hancox, who is the Co-Managing Director of Optik Leisure.
Born Leicester 1973. Andy left school in the late 80’s and attended Southfields College where he studied Shop Fitting and achieved the “Advanced Craft Certificate”
On leaving college he then went on to fulltime employment with a local shop fitting firm and through his experience was given the responsibility of managing sites at the early age of 18.
Several years later Andy joined a Birmingham firm where he was given the responsibility of overseeing projects up to the value of £2m Nationwide.
This is where he first met his present business partner Nick Perrin, and after serving 5 years with the company decided to set up Optik Leisure.
